I woke up today

Feeling like I must clean everything... It is horrible... Why can't I just be a bum? I don't want to clean... I want my house to stay like it is... I have a headache... I want to take a pill and then wait for it to go away.. but I also feel like I NEED TO CLEAN!!! omg... this is terrible... I just had to share that.. I am now going to go finish this cup of coffee and then clean my room... and hope this headache goes away while I clean... LMAO

They didn't get the hint...

Everybody got to pick a toy today.

My house now looks like shit again...

I guess they didn't get the hint after having NO TOYS last week...

There are books all over my living room floor as well as those 9 toys.

So I guess that tomorrow while they are in school I will be putting those toys all back in the closet and they also will be losing the book privilege...

Really? How hard is this? I thought that by giving them back one toy each it would make it easier for them to learn how to do this... Just put the damn toy away.

I really don't know what else to do. Really. Is the answer to my problem going to be to not let them have anything at all? If they have no toys, no books, no nothing, then they can not leave a mess. I asked them repeatedly to pick up the toys and books and I told them that if they do not do it, they will lose the privilege of having them. I am tired of yelling.

The whole point of my taking the toys and other things away and trying to teach them to pick up after themselves is because I don't want to yell at them. I am tired of yelling at them all the time. I should be able to say "Its time to pick up the toys, the kids are leaving soon, so lets get this done" and they should all do it.

It won't be a problem the rest of this week, cause after I get done with the living room tomorrow, there will be nothing for them to mess up...

I AM FRUSTRATED

I sent their asses back to bed...

My nieces and nephew spent the night last night because their mom had to work over till 7am. So my only comment last night after goodnight was "If you wake me up in the morning, I will send you back to bed" i told this to all 7 kids...

What did I hear first thing this morning? 7 very loud kids... I had such a headache from them, being woke up by that much noise always gives me a headache, that is why I told the 7 kids that I would send them all back to bed if they woke me up.

Every Saturday morning my kids can get themselves up, take their meds, get their own breakfast, and sit down quietly and watch a movie. Then I can get up about an hour later and there is no problem. So I do not see why the addition of 3 kids that are the exact same age as my kids should change this at all. They should be able to get their own cereal, take their own pills and sit down and watch a damn movie for an hour.

So I got me and my huge headache up, came down stairs, got all their pills out (because NOBODY had taken them) and made everybody clean the huge mess they had made, then had them all take their pills, then they were all sent back to bed... I told them they all had to lay down for 45 minutes and be silent, cause that is how long it would take for my headache pill and coffee to work so my head would feel better. I also said that if they did not be silent that they would have to lay down even longer... so about 5 minutes later I hear my niece... so she got the privilege of standing on the wall for 45 minutes while the rest of the kids did their time. When they all got up, she was sent to bed till lunch time... Maybe next time she will do as she is told.. I am getting a little tired of that one thinking she can do what she wants to...

After that, they all figured out that I was not having a good day and they all behaved REALLY well...

Day #5 of no Toys and Beki sucks...

This day was really not so bad.. they seemed to have gotten the point... except i think they decided to go on the offencive... Lets see how FUCKING LOUD we can be...

It was Friday so i thought we would have a movie on... I was watching Changeling, Angelina Jolie... yummy... and I asked the kids to please eat their snack and be a little quiet so I could finish my movie then they could watch Speed Racer, since it was Friday, it would be nice and the week hadn't REALLY been that bad, just minor offences... nothing earth shattering... they are kids after all...

But it was NOT TO BE!!! DAMN IT!!! I finally threatened to put them all on the wall until my movie was over if they did not shut their mouths!!! There was only like 10 minutes left... that is all... 10 minutes... come on... its Angelina!!! Give a Lesbian with her favorite actress a break!!! They did calm down after I threatened the wall... And they did get to watch their movie...

So the school week ended... It was fine... Lets see how next week goes???

Day #4 of No Toys and Beki Sucks

Today I was upstairs in the bathroom when the kids got here.

And when I came downstairs I was NOT a happy person!!!

THE TV WAS ON!! Oh hell no... What part of "You get to do nothing except read books after your homework is done" do these kids not understand?

I am very seriously considering extending the nothing except reading books rule for one more week, cause they are not listening to me about it right now, so maybe they need to go without, for 2 weeks so they can get the point!

Day 1 - drawing on my homework paper by 1 kid

Day 3 - drawing on my homework paper by 3 kids while I went to the bathroom!!!
Day 4 - watching a movie!!!

Lets see how day 5 goes, cause so far it has been getting worse each day...

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE MY JOB!!!!

Day #3 of NO Toys and Beki Sucks

Once again they wanted to use homework paper to draw on... but this time they waited till I went upstairs they they got out the paper and pencil without asking... I fussed and they put it away... I was not nice...

Oh well... they will learn...

Day #2 of NO toys and Beki sucks

We did better today with the no toys... Because it was such a nice day today (Hey... UN, we did wear sweatshirts...lol...) that we all went outside.

We got out the bikes and I made sure the chains were oiled and tight and the tires had air and I also got out Little Brother's skate board. The kids played and had a great time. So today was not bad cause we didn't have to be in the house.

We did get all the homework done first, and then grabbed a snack on the way out the door. Homework is way more important than fresh air... sorry kids...

I talked to Blondy about getting him a new bike, he has FINALLY gotten to tall for his old bike, so we decided to get him a bigger one and give his old one to Little brother. Little Brother is SUPER excited, he has wanted Blondy's bike for a real long time, I told Little Brother that we can take the tires off the bike and paint the frame any color he wants, he said Gold...lol... so when Blondy gets his bike we have to pick up a couple cans of Gold spray paint. Then we will have an extra bike for the babysitting kids, that will be helpful.

I was asked one time by one of the kids if they could use the homework paper to draw... I said NO... that is for homework... that was before we went outside...

Day #1 of NO Toys and Beki sucks!!!

So today was the first day that there were no toys, coloring books, or any entertainment available except reading books, in my house...

First thing they all thought they were going to do was use my Homework pencils and Homework paper to draw... Umm HELL NO!!! You can read books or stare at walls... And they were told as soon as homework was done why they were not allowed to have toys or anything except books. I also told them that this would be going on for at least one week. I told them all that if there was even ONE book not put back on the shelf during this week, we would do it for two weeks. Cause that is how mean I am...

They did fairly well, not to much fighting (except for the small incident where T kicked little brother in the mouth and knocked out his tooth, but it was wiggly anyways, so that is alright) and everybody put back the books they were reading when they were done.

We will see how they do tomorrow.... I AM going to have a clean house!!!

Learning the hard way...

The kids are learning that when mom says pick your shit up, she means it...

I'm not just waisting air here... I mean... pick your shit up!

Chore list:

1. Take a shower everyday
2. Brush your teeth twice a day
3. Pick up your dirty cloths from the bathroom
4. Make your bed (all that means is, pull your blanket up to your pillow)
5. Do your individual chore : Kris: Dishes Kody: Trash and help clear table Kati: don't cry when told no and help clear table Kole: no fighting in school
6. Put away toys after you play with them

And, in general, help keep your house clean, you live here, so don't trash it... This doesn't sound like to much to me, it basically sounds like age appropriate stuff... I think...

And for the babysitting kids, I ask them to put away the toys they play with, that is all, just put away whatever you play with. If you get it out, put it back... simple? I guess not!

My house has been looking like a hurricane went through it!!! Every single day I clean and clean, and every single day, they destroy like it is their job... food on the floor, I sweep up enough food to feed a small army! Dirty cloths left in the bathroom, toothpaste on the walls, toothpaste on the floor? WTF? Towels on the floor? WHY??? Towels in the living room?? Why are you getting dressing in the living room? Your cloths are upstairs... Dirty cloths in the hallway... Bed are not only NOT made, the blankets are not even on the beds, they are on the floor, as are the sheets and the pillows! And when I ask you to go make your bed, you say "Yes Ma'am" and go upstairs and when I check after you leave for school, you haven't done it... good job...

And why are we leaving the lights on all day long? I turn off 3 lights as soon as you leave for school, everyday. I don't get it.. do your bedrooms NEED lights when it is daytime and they are empty? I'm just wondering?

And are your clean cloths going to fold themselves? You have been folding your own cloths for MONTHS now, but suddenly, you can't? You leave them, clean, in a basket, until you need them? I don't think so...

So... once again... The children are learning a lesson... we cleaned today... a lot.. the toy closet got cleaned, the right way, with everything put where it belongs, and then all the coloring books and crayons got put in there, and markers, and everything, except reading books, that means all games, and electronics, also got put in that closet (except for a selection for baby J, cause he is to young to understand) and now all the kids, including the babysitting kids, get nothing to play with, cause I am tired of them not picking up after themselves, so now the only thing anybody gets is books to read, that is it, they come over after school, have snack, do homework, and read... sucks to be them. They have been told for weeks that this would happen if they didn't do what i said, and they didn't believe me... now they do...

Tomorrow my kids get to learn AGAIN how to fold cloths... since they seam to have forgotten how to... and since there are no toys, they will have plenty of time to fold cloths... and then put them away... Oh ya... and clean their rooms...

They also cleaned the bathroom today... because they are the ones that keep putting toothpaste on everything... I really thought they would learn about the toothpaste, this isn't the first time that they have done this...

I just keep telling myself 12 more years... just 12 more years... just 12 more years... that is all...

Snot

So i had this cough thing going on for a while... I was coughing like crazy... coughing up lung butter... it was gross...so that finally is going away for the most part... But now it has migrated to my nose... I think i have a sinus infection... that is also gross...

So i think that the Doctors need to come up with tubes for your sinuses... they have tubes for your ears... why can't they make tubes for your sinuses? They could put one tube from the right sinus into the sinus in your forehead area and one tube from the sinus on the left into your forehead area, then a tube from the right that would go to your nose and a tube from the left that would go to your nose... are you with me? If not you can call me and I will explain... so then you just need a sterile rinse, maybe like saline or even an antibiotic rinse, and when your sinuses are causing you problems you would just hook up a bag-o-water to one nostril tube and a suction tube to the other nostril tube... then flush... the water would go in, loosen it all up (maybe it would help if you shook your head around a little bit while the stuff was in there) and then the suction tube would suck it all out... You might have to stand on your head so it could get real high up in there actually, but i think it could work... doesn't salt water (saline) break down mucus? i bet after that your head would be nice and clear! No more clogged sinuses, no more stuffiness, no more blowing your nose and staying up all night cause you can't breath... Think of the benefits! The doctors need to get on this! And then pay me royalties! Since I thought of it...

And while we are talking about tubing things... why can't they just stick a tube in your lungs and suck out the lung butter when you have bronchitis or pneumonia? I know you would still have to have antibiotics to kill the infection, but wouldn't it help to get that lung butter out? Maybe give you some of that "make you real sleepy so you don't fight" medicine, then stick a tube in, suck it out, then when you wake up, off you go... Its just a thought, but it could help... I think...

Housebitch for rent...

I feel like shit... and I have 4 kids... and I feel like shit...

We, as in Big Brother, Sister and myself, spent Saturday cleaning the house and getting the laundry done, cause we all know that Blondy and Little Brother don't do shit... bless their hearts...

But now the house once again looks like nobody is cleaning, cause I feel like shit... so that means that I can't spent half the day picking up after the slobs I live with, I am soooo tired, coughing, wheezing all that crap, the meds do help, but still... and there are about to be 6 more kids here besides mine, and as we all know, they are not going to improve the situation... bless THEIR hearts... but it isn't their fault... they are kids... it is what they do...

So here is my thought... I should open up a new business "Housebitch for rent" Its a great idea, really... If you are sick and single and need somebody to come into your house for a day or a week to help out with cleaning, cooking, taking care of the kids, call "Housebitch for rent" and they can come over, and do all that stuff for you! You can stay in bed, get better, take your meds, the "Housebitch" can bring you chicken soup and OJ, clean the house, get the kids up in the morning and kick them out the door to school all that stuff, and you can just concentrate on getting better... It would be like having a Wife, but with no emotional upkeep... and that is sooo what I needed these last couple days... a wife... to bring me soup and OJ and meds, and get these damn lovely kids to let me rest cause I was coughing till i puked... and then the pain from coughing that much really really makes me a TAD grouchy... just a TAD... and if they ask me for one more thing I may hurt somebody...

It is times like this that I realize why our brains are geared to want to be together with another person, it is for survival... Not just our survival, but survival of our children... cause if i don't get better, they aren't going to live much longer...

So... "Housebitch for Rent"... It sounds like a good idea... and it wouldn't have to just be chicks, there could also be guys that could go be "Housebitchs"... Guys can cook, clean, and take care of kids just as well as chicks... Well.. some guys... maybe... Ok... There HAS to be some out there SOMEWHERE... LOL
